What we keep about you, why, and who sees it. Howling Press, Durham, North Carolina.
Current from September 17, 2026.
What we keep
When you write to us, call, or start a project on the site, we keep what you gave us: your name, how to reach you, and what you told us about the job. When you order online or accept a quote, we keep the order, the files you sent for it, the proofs, and where it was delivered. When you make an account, we keep the account. Payment details go to the payment processor and are not stored here.
Why
To quote the job, print it, deliver it and answer for it afterward, and to make the next job easier: your files, your paper and how you like things done are the reason a reorder takes a minute. We do not sell or rent any of it, and we do not use it to send you anything you did not ask for. We write when there is something to say about your job.
Who else sees it
The people who work on your job here. A carrier gets the delivery address. The payment processor gets what it needs to take the payment. When a job is placed with a press we trust, it gets the artwork and the specifications, not your details. Nobody else, unless the law requires it.
Your files
We keep your files for as long as you have an account or an open job, so you can reorder, and we treat them as confidential. We do not use them for anything but your jobs, and we do not show your work as an example of ours without asking you first. Ask, and we delete them.
Cookies
The site sets the cookies it needs to work: one to keep you signed in, one to keep a cart, and none to follow you around the web. If we add a visitor counter we will say so here, and it will not identify you.
Your say
Ask and we will tell you what we hold about you, correct it, or delete it, apart from what the law says we keep, such as invoices. Write to GetStarted@HowlingPress.com or call (919) 744-1801.
